A word from Gary's daughter Angelique
When Gary had any free time, it was spent with his family and beloved Grandchildren. He was a proud husband, father, Pappa and family man. He would put his own needs aside to help others out, always. Especially his children.
He was the kindest, most gentle soul you would have ever met.
He loved going to Tigers games, watching the Lions lose, camping, bon fires, and just relaxing on the floor when he could. He enjoyed sharing his knowledge of working on cars with those who were willing to learn. The Woodward Dream Cruise was a favorite event that he looked forward to every year.
A word from Gary's Son Nicholas
My Father was a beast of a man! No matter what where and when if you were in a jam or needed someone my dad was there for you! He literally would stop doing whatever he was doing to help you, cause he always stayed busy with projects, hobbies, work anything at all but helping others especially family and friends was first priority! He put everyone especially our mother before himself! That showed us what marriage and true love was about! I've learned everything from my father which made me the man I am today! After my father got to a certain age he concentrated more on the family business that his son and him grew over 20 plus years. It was his passion and working together with was the greatest gift although working with family has its ups and downs there were a lot more great stories and experiences that came out of it! My father became not just my dad but my best friend! He loved to entertain but mostly never took credit for anything he rather give the credit to his two children while talking to others. Always had the nicest compliments about his family. He was truly a proud humble soul!
