Frank Bush, a devoted brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2023 at the age of 80. He was born to the late Joseph and Clara Bush, and is survived by his beloved sister Shirley Bush, and his brother Dennis (Trish) Bush. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Joseph (Peggy), Bernice (Donald) Wilson, Robert (Carol), Clarence (Theresa), and Leonard (Sharon).

Frank's warm heart and kind spirit extended to numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews, who were all recipients of his unwavering love and affection. His circle of friends was vast and enduring, a testament to the genuine connections he fostered throughout his life.

A dedicated patriot, Frank served his country honorably in the United States Army. Upon his return, he embarked on a successful career with Chrysler, where he eventually retired from the accounting department. Beyond his professional achievements, Frank's true passion lay in the world of golf, a sport he cherished and enjoyed throughout his life. He was a devoted fan of Detroit teams but mostly Notre Dame sports, especially football.

Frank was deeply involved in various organizations that reflected his commitment to community and camaraderie. He was an active member of the American Legion, Ancient Order of Hibernians, Knights of Columbus, and the Raccoons, where he found fellowship and shared values with like-minded individuals.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, located at 41555 Grand River, on Thursday, August 17, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Funeral Liturgy will take place on Friday, August 18, 2023, at Holy Family Church, 24505 Meadowbrook in Novi. Frank will lie in state at the church from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral Liturgy at 10:30 am.

Frank's final resting place will be at the Great Lakes National Cemetery, where he will be interred with Military Honors on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at 10:00 am.

Frank Bush will be remembered for his love of family, his dedication to his country, his passion for golf, and his unwavering commitment to his friends and community. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth, generosity, and lasting friendships that will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in eternal peace.
