Frank Lewandowski passed on August 7, 2024, at the age of 86 years old. He was born on June 9, 1938, in Detroit, Michigan to Polish immigrants Anna (Palaski) and Michael Lewandowski.
Frank is survived by his sister-in-law Irene Lewandowski. He is preceded in death by Lucile Shaw, Henry and Elaine Lewandowski, Edward Lewandowski and Joseph Lewandowski. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Frank was known for his unwavering devotion to his parents, whom he cared for until their passing. After retiring from the Crestwood School District, Frank embraced the joys of life with a passion that touched everyone around him.
Frank found happiness in music, especially the timeless melodies of Connie Francis. His pets were not just companions but were treated with the same love and care as children. He was also known for his love of Western and Classic television shows and movies and loved the Star Trek series.
Frank was a connoisseur of Polish cuisine and could have eaten it every day. He had a love for a good glass of wine with holiday dinners and he enjoyed holiday lighting and all the decorations for Christmas. He had a deep appreciation for life's simple pleasures, like his after-dinner coffee. Frank had a fondness for cars and trucks, a passion that he shared with friends and family. He especially enjoyed snowmobile riding.
Those who knew Frank will remember him as a sweet and gentle soul, always selfless, and ever thoughtful of his family, friends, and neighbors. He will be deeply missed.

Frank's final resting place will be at Parkview Cemetery in Livonia, Michigan.
