Francis Begue's Obituary
Francis "Frank" Joseph Begue died may 15, 2013, at Angela Hospice in Livonia at the age of 86.
Frank was born May 7, 1927, in Detroit, MI, the son of Fred and Louise (nee Kennedy) Begue. He married Jeanne Martha Zager at St. Luke's Church, Detroit, on December 23, 1971.
He was the beloved husband of the late Jeanne (nee Zager), brother of Marie Robertson, Agnes (Robert) Godek, Leon (Susan) Begue, the late Sister Therese Ann Begue RSM, and Thomas (Brenda) Begue. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Frank graduated with a BA Degree from Sacred Heart Seminary College in 1949, earned a MDiv Degree for St. John Provincial Seminary in 1953; and achieved his MSW in 1976. He worked as an Addiction Counselor for Brookfield Clinics at Garden City Hospital and St. Mary Mercy Hospital for 1972-2010. He was also chaplain at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ann Arbor from 1996-2010.
Instate Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church, 24505 Meadowbrook Road, Novi from 10:00 am until time of memorial mass 10:30 am.
