FRANCES G. WARING
"FRAN" age 79 of Novi, formerly of Troy.  Born in 1931 in Cleveland, Ohio and passed away December 15, 2010.  Fran graduated from Michigan State College (B.A.) in 1953.  She was an artist achieving much success as a watermedia painter and an active member of several associations including Michigan Watercolor Society and Birmingham Society of Women Painters.  Her artwork is in numerous private and corporate collections (Dow Corning; Beaumont Hospital).  Fran is the beloved wife of the late Malcolm "Dave"; dear mother of Michael (Jeannie), Debra (Eric) Ryerse and Susan (Michael) Sandoval; loving grandmother of Hunter and Shae Sandoval; sister of Thomas Gaines and the late William Gaines.  As requested, cremation will take place and interment will be at the Brookside Cemetery, Tecumseh, Michigan.  Memorial Service will be held Friday, January 14, 2011, beginning at 11:00 am at O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River Ave., Novi, MI (248) 348-1800.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lymphoma Research ( www.lymphoma.org ).
