Eugene Joseph Orlowski
December 21, 1946 – April 15, 2023
Beloved wife of Sharon for 51 years.
Loving father of Eugene, Craig, Timothy (Jessica) and Ryan.
Cherished grandfather of Brandon, Samantha, Zach, Alexis and Nicholas.
Sweet son of the late John and Rose.
Dear brother of Richard, Carol (Mitchell), Rosalie, Christine (Jeffrey), Mary (The late John), Geraldine, Felicia, Doloria (Michael), John and Elizabeth.
Eugene was a generous, loving and caring husband and father. He would do anything he could for his wife Sharon and their 4 boys. He was always there to lend a helping hand to his family. He was the family handyman.
Eugene attended catholic school for 12 years and graduated from Our Lady of Lourdes. After graduation, He worked for Local 636 Pipefitters Union and was able to retire after 48 years in the union. He also served two years in the Army.
Eugene was a member of the St. Valentine choir for many years. After moving to Novi, He joined the St. James choir. After retiring, Gene enjoyed watching movies and TV. He enjoyed playing on the computer. He helped with babysitting his grandchildren and enjoyed attending their sporting events.
Eugene will be dearly missed by his wife, sons and family and friends.
A visitation for Eugene will take place at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River Ave. Novi, MI 48375 on Thursday April 20th starting at 2pm until 8pm with a rosary at 6:30pm.
A funeral mass will be said for Eugene on Friday April 21 at St. James Catholic Church, 46325 W. 10 Mile rd. Novi, MI 48374 with an instate period beginning at 9:30 AM and the funeral liturgy at 10:00 AM.
He will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield.
