devoted husband and father, passed away on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2011 with his loving family at his side.  Bud enjoyed life for 83 great years after being born to Ervin and Otillia Seaser. He graduated from Catholic Central High School and went on to graduate from the University of Detroit in 1951. He married the love of his life, Marie Therese Kelly culminating in a 63 year plus union.  Together they raised three active sons.  He was a World War II veteran having served his country in the Navy.  Bud enjoyed a 32 year long career with Ford Motor Company working as a Financial Analyst.  He was a founding member and usher at St. Peter Parish in Harper Woods and was a longtime parishioner and usher at Church of the Divine Child in Dearborn.  As a dedicated member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians for several decades, Bud served as both a state and divisional officer.  He was a member of the Lyskawa VFW Post # 7546.  He greatly enjoyed hunting, softball, bowling, golf, traveling and Notre Dame football.   Bud is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Marie; sons Ray (Patty) of Ft. Collins, CO; Robert (Kristin) of Redford; and Paul (Kay) of South Lyon.  He leaves five grandchildren: Tracy Lahay, Robert Patrick Seaser, Andrew Seaser, Abby Seaser McMahan and Kyle Seaser, eight great grandchildren and  former daughter-in-law, Karen Pernicano.  He is survived by his brother, Gerald (Millie) Seaser, sister-in-laws Florence Fritz and Patricia Haight, and many nieces and nephews.  An infant son, Dennis Michael, preceded him in death.

Visitation will be at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River Avenue, Novi, MI 48375 (248-348-1800) Thur. 4-9 pm and Friday 1-9pm with a rosary at 6:30 pm.

Instate Saturday, February 19th at 9:00 A.M. at Church of the Divine Child, 1055 N. Silvery Lane, Dearborn until funeral mass at 9:30 am.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Bud's memory may be made, with gratitude, to the Ervin J. (Bud) and Marie Seaser Honorary Scholarship at Divine Child High School, 25001 Herbert Weier Drive, Dearborn, MI 48128.
