Elmer "Al" Bela Bolla
February 11, 1931 – December 21, 2024

Elmer "Al" Bela Bolla, 93, of Northville Michigan, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2024. Born on February 11, 1931, in Detroit, MI to Bela and Vilma (Makker) Bolla, Al lived a full life dedicated to his family, his work, and his passions.

Al was the beloved husband of Lucy (Arabian) for nearly 58 years, a partnership marked by love and unwavering devotion. He was a proud and loving father to Chris (Lisa) Bolla and Steve (Deanna) Bolla, and a cherished grandfather to Nicole, Evan, Rachel, Julia, and Nicholas. He was predeceased by his sister, Gloria Marton.

A skilled electrician, Al dedicated 20 years of service to Ford Motor Company. Outside of work, he was a devoted Detroit Tigers fan, fulfilling a lifelong dream by attending the Detroit Tigers Fantasy Camp twice.

Al served his country as a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He was also a past member of the American Legion Post. A man of precision and care, Al found joy in maintaining his home and cars, ensuring everything was always in its place.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 12 p.m. at O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home 41555 Grand River Ave., Novi, MI 48375 248-348-1800. Interment will take place at Rural Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Michigan Parkinson Foundation or the Michael J. Fox Foundation.

Al's memory will be treasured by all who knew him. His kindness, dedication, and love will remain a lasting legacy.
