Wizinsky, Elizabeth Mary (nee Battaglia0 August 13, 2022. Elizabeth was born December 16, 1923 to the late Francesco "Frank" Battaglia & Guiseppa "Josephine" (nee Vizzi) on Staten Island, NY, she was the 4th of 8 children. After attending St. Johns College in NYC for cost accounting, she married William Harry Wizinsky in 1945 and moved to Detroit. She followed her sons to Texas in the 1970's where she lived for 1/3 of her life. She started two out of three senior groups at two churches which are still going strong. She started a third senior group, the Golden Dimensions at Holy Family Catholic Church, Novi but unfortunately is no longer a functioning group. She is the mother of Karl Thomas Wizinsky of Northport, Cheryl Beth Lord (Roy) of Brighton, William Gerard (Ann) of Novi and Mary Ann Wizinsky of South Lyon. Loving grandmother to: Jennifer, Julie, Joshua, Aubrey, Victoria, Matthew, Sarah, Paul, Kelly, Kate, Courtney and Bella. Loving great-grandmother to: Meagan, Madellyn, Dakota, Tyler, Alexis, Ashlynn, Allyson, Isabella, Ariana, Roman, Lev, Zoe, Brendon and McKenna. Great-great-grandmother to: Elliot, Fisher and Hazel. Preceded in death by her parents, siblings, husbands and two sons, Harold and Ronald. The Wizinsky family will receive guests on Friday, August 19, 2022 between 3-8 pm at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home 41555 Grand River Ave Novi, MI 48375 (248) 348-1800. A funeral mass is planned for Betty for Saturday, August 20, 2022 11 am at the Church of the Holy Family 24505 Meadowbrook Rd. Novi.
