Elaine Marie Grech

Of Canton, formerly of Novi, was taken from her family and friends at the age of 30 years young, Friday, May 31, 2019.

Elaine was born July 14, 1988 in Wayne, the daughter of Mario and Michele Grech. She graduated from Novi High School with the class of 2006 and then attended and graduated from CMU. Elaine was currently employed as a patient service assistant at Michigan Medicine University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

Elaine's true passion was always helping others and especially rescuing animals. Elaine donated to many rescue and animal shelters from dogs and cats to wildlife and ocean animals. It was imperative to her to always help people and animals in need.

Elaine, family and friends were active in the Toy's For Tots program organized by her Detroit Fireman, Uncle Dave, aka "Super Dave".

Elaine ALWAYS put others in front of her own needs.

Elaine was the life of the party, the spark, the entertainer! Her beautiful smile, sense of humor and energy always "Got The party Started".

Elaine is survived by her parents Mario and Michele Grech, brother Kyle (Kara) Grech, partner of 8 years Brandon Hatcher, Grandfather James Reeves, Nanna Mary Grech, beloved dogs Bentley, Roxie, and cat Simon. Elaine is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 6, 2019 from 2:00 PM - 9:00 PM at the O'Brien-Sullivan Funeral Home in Novi. Mass will be held Friday, June 7, 2019 at 10:30 AM at St. James Catholic Church in Novi, with Father Joe officiating. Directly following mass there will be a procession to her final resting place for burial. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to:
