Edward (Ed) Clark Moran passed on May 5, 2024, just four days shy of his 90th birthday. Loving husband to the late Frances Louise Moran (Dick) who died July 21, 2021.

Dear father to Clark (Tina) Moran, the late Jacklyn Moran, Susan (Greg) Raymond, Mark (Sandra) Moran and Bob Moran. Grandfather to Derek (Lauren) Moran, Adam (Julie) Moran, Madison Moran, Hunter Moran, Jennifer McQuillan, Jessica (Ryan) Stepke, Taylor (Connor) Mihaljevic, Paige Raymond, Reece Moran, Andrew Moran and Kendall Moran. Great-grandfather to Austin, Devin, Logan, Jack, Rowan, Ivan, Charleigh and Ronan.

Ed grew up amongst nine brothers and two sisters. He is survived by Leonard Moran, Tom (Kaye) Moran and MaryAnn (Bill) Skibinski. Extended family Edward (Judy) Brown and David (Melissa) Brown.
Ed was a hardworking Certified Mechanic for 46 years at Michigan Cat. He was an active loyal member of the Operating Engineers local 324 for 68 years. Ed was a supportive and hands on father, grandfather and great-grandfather who enjoyed being at every football, baseball, basketball and soccer game. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling, restoring classic cars, fixing family cars, helping others and spending time in Hillman, Michigan.

Ed was a mentor to many, and a friend to all. He will be missed.

Visitation will be held at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home in Novi from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday, May 13, 2024. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 7:00 pm on Monday, May 13, 2024 at the funeral home.

Edward will be taken to his final resting place at Hillman-Rust Cemetery in Hillman, MI on Friday, May 17, 2024 at 12:00 pm (noon).
