Edward A. Blaty, Age 88, passed away on March 31, 2012.
Born in Detroit, MI., he is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Virginia; his children Ann Marie Mann (Richard Vail), Theresa Lynn Blaty (David Diebold), Mary Beth (Kyle) Lewison, Edward Charles; and his 5 grandsons Jonathan T. Mann, Matthew E. (Kristin) Mann, Cole W. Lewison, Brian C. Lewison & Andrew J. Diebold, of whom he was so very proud. Also survived by his sister Delores Ajlouny, and his sister in law Lorraine Blaty. Predeceased by his sister Jeanette (Monroe)  Seaback, brother Donald Blaty, and brother-in-law Anthony Ajlouny.
After proudly serving during WWII with the US Marine Corp., Ed earned his JD from Wayne State University Law School and worked for 44 years at Lawyer's Title Insurance Corporation. He retired as Chairman of the Board/CEO of their subsidiary Continental Land Title. He was, above all, a wonderful husband, dad & grandpa.

Instate at Holy Family Church, 24505 Meadowbrook Rd., Novi, Thursday at 10 AM until the funeral liturgy at 10:30 AM.
