LaFave, Doris Martha. Born September 30, 1938 in Detroit to the late Mae and Joseph LaFave. Passed away peacefully at Marywood Nursing Center in Livonia on July 21, 2017. Beloved sister of Melvin, Therese, Ralph, Don, Larry, Bill, Mary, Bob, and Cathie. Preceeded in death by brothers Duane, Tom, Charlie, and Paul. Aunt to 76 nieces and nephews. Funeral Liturgy will be 11 am Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at St. Genevieve Catholic Church 29015 Jamison St. Livonia, MI 48154 with visitation 10 am until time of liturgy. Doris was a 35 year veteran supervisor at Detroit Edison who loved to travel the world, enjoyed golf, bowling and sailing.
