Szajner, Donald A. January 11, 2023. Age 89. Beloved husband of Eleanor of 65 years. Loving father of Dino (Norma) Szajner and Derek (Carolyn) Szajner. Proud grandfather of Adam (Jessica) Szajner, Zachery (Chloe) Szajner, Brett Szajner and Hannah (Zach) O'Hara. Great grandfather of Aiden. Dear brother of Joseph Szajner and the late Dolores Siegal and Thomas Szajner. Don was born October 19, 1933, in Detroit, MI to the late Adam and Elizabeth Szajner. Mr. Szajner was a United States Navy Veteran and served during the Korean Conflict. He loved to hunt, watch hockey and was an avid baseball fan. He loved watching his grandchildren's sporting events and most of all spending time with his family. Funeral mass 11 am Monday, January 16, 2023, at St. James Catholic Church 46325 W. 10 Mile Rd., Novi, MI with visitation 10:30 AM until mass. Visitation 2-8 pm, Sunday, January 15, 2023, at the O'Brien Sullivan Funeral Home 41555 Grand River Ave. Novi, MI 48375.There will be a Eulogy and rosary 7pm Sunday.
