Donald L. Dean, aged 82, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 24, 1941, in Robinette, West Virginia, to the late Nobie Lee Dean and Minnie (Curry) Dean.

Don leaves behind his devoted wife of 60 years, Rosalie (Fratto), and their three children: Renee (Rick) Tosto, Donald Dean, and Gregory (Jennifer) Dean. He was a cherished grandfather to Ryan Tosto, Courtney Tosto, Alexandra Estes, Avery Tosto, Peyton Tosto, and Joseph Dean. Don is also remembered by his sister, Ruth Nieporte, and was preceded in death by his sister Naomi Marks.

During his career, Mr. Dean worked at Ford Motor Company in skilled trades, where he dedicated himself to his craft. Outside of work, he found joy in photography, capturing precious moments with his camera lens. Don was a man of many passions, including golfing, gardening, and winemaking. However, his greatest love was undoubtedly spending quality time with his family and friends, creating lasting memories that will be cherished forever.
Visitation will be 10 am Saturday, April 6, 2024 at St James Catholic Church 46325 Ten Mile Rd., Novi followed by a memorial mass in honor of Don's life at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause close to Don's heart.
