Donald Angus Burrell, 81 of Novi, MI passed away at Providence Park Hospital on August 28, 2017.
He was born in Detroit and raised in Livonia graduating from Bentley High School and Eastern Michigan University. He spent his career in sales with his last 24 years working for Xerox Corporation. After retiring, he moved to Traverse City where he resided until 2016. Don was an avid and accomplished golfer and also enjoyed fishing, Tigers baseball and Michigan football.
Don's beloved wife of 44 years Linda, died in 2007. He is survived by sons, Scott and Greg, granddaughters Avery, Zoe, and Sammy, and sister Jean (Farmer). In lieu of flowers contributions may be directed to https://gtcd.wufoo.com/forms/donate/
A memorial service will be held at 4pm Friday, September 1, 2017 with visitation 2pm until time of service at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home 41555 Grand River Avenue Novi 248 348 1800. After the service there will be a celebration of Don's life at Poole's Back Bar, 157 E. Main Street, Northville, MI 48167.
