Diane Angelosante
March 13, 1955 – September 9, 2022 at the young age of 67.
Beloved wife of Jeff for 44 years but have known each other for 48 wonderful years.
Loving mother to Rachel (Joe) and Colin (Kelly).
Sweet sister of Linda (Dan), Bob (Sandy), Cindy (Joe) and Scott (Donna) and sister-in-law Michele, Jill and Karen.
Treasured close friend of Pat, Jean, Cheryl and Carol.
Dear daughter of the late Jack and Marilyn.
She is also survived by many close friends, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Diane was a 1973 graduate of Bentley High School in Livonia, Michigan. In 1974, she met Jeff in Geography class at Schoolcraft College in Livonia and she never looked back! They had a 4 year courtship until they married in 1978. They had a beautiful wedding reception at the Plymouth Hilton in Northville. Diane worked for Jeff at Select Graphics Corp. in the 2000's and emailed all his hand written "emails" to clients. She never complained – always was there to help the best way she could – for anybody and everybody.
We watched you sleep – so very tired – rest, my sweet, our rock.
There was a full moon in the sky and it shined a bright light as you were taken from us this day. You were our bright light to us, my darling wife, as well as for your beautiful children, Rachel and Colin, (I named Rachel and you named Colin). You were special. A giving and selfless child of God. You would always consider others before yourself but always had that special thing that you wanted for yourself. My heart grieves that you had more that you wanted to see – the Fall colors in New Hampshire, or was it Vermont? Heck, we will go to both, right? We will take the family vacations and have you with us as that's the way you would have wanted it.
You're always by my side, Diane. Colin and Rachel have you by their side, too – always there as you always have been. Grateful for the memories we have of you and forever, my love. Until we see you again, my precious angel. So very sorry we couldn't find a way to cure you and keep you in our pocket so you are always with us. You lived with the "pain" for too long and you rarely showed it - just to keep it to yourself.
Colin and Kelly, (and Percy, Marleau, and Rey), made it from Phoenix by a mere two hours to speak their final words to you. I know that you heard us but could not open your eyes and tell us you loved us back. You processed it your own way and knew we were there for you – ours tears dripping on your cheeks.
I will pull your flowers out in the Fall and plant new ones' in the Spring for you. I will keep the sinks cleaned for you. I will try to feed your funny and loving terrier pup, Victor, less food, (He has had a rough time during your last breaths). I will find a barber that cuts my hair just like you do. I will keep your car washed. I will shut the garage door at night. I won't forget to close the blinds for you at night. I won't let the grass get too long. I will look over Rachel and Colin for you. I will have you with me at bedtime and share your pillow. I will paint your barn quilts and let you see them and get your final "OK" before we hang them on Rachel's barn, OK? I will water the plants on the deck for you. I promise not to hang too (many) more pictures in the basement! I will pick up the sticks in the back for you. I will miss you captaining the pontoon boat and don't know how I could ever take it out without you. You suffered through the STYX concert you got for me this last Christmas. You suffered on your last trip with me on the boat – no, I didn't mind keeping you on the picnic table while I unloaded, loaded and took off the boat cover and put it back on. I would do anything for you, my precious.
Colin's hockey games, Rachel's dance recitals and horse shows, Both of their weddings. SO much more that your being with us meant so much to all us all. WE will forever cherish the memories you gave to us.
I will look up to the sky and KNOW you are touched by the hand of God. Forever missing you,
Your loving family
