Dennis James Thibodeau, 83, of Novi, Michigan, passed away May 20, 2026. Born July 21, 1942, in Detroit, Michigan, Dennis lived a life defined by loyalty, humor, and a deep love of community. 

A proud Eagle Scout, Dennis attended Henry Ford Community College and devoted 30 years to Ford Motor Company as an Analyst. He was an avid car enthusiast who never missed the Woodward Dream Cruise, and he brought his quick wit to corporate stages performing stand-up comedy for colleagues. Active in local life, Dennis belonged to his golf club, supported the Novi Band as a booster, and chaired the Bottle Drive fundraiser, helping to strengthen ties across the community. 

Dennis was known for his honesty, moral character, and an easy ability to bond with others—every friend felt like his best friend. He married his beloved Donna in a union that lasted 58 years. He is survived by his wife Donna; sons Matthew Thibodeau and David Thibodeau (Susan); granddaughter Jordan; brother Robert Thibodeau, Sister-in-law Ginger (Billy); and many loving cousins, nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents, Rolly and Jeanne Thibodeau, and brothers Tommy and Billy. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Angela Hospice. Service and visitation details will be shared with family and friends when available. Dennis will be remembered for his wit, loyalty, and the warmth he brought to everyone fortunate enough to know him.
