Delphine (Del) Nutt, 81 of Livonia, Michigan, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2022.

Del was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 6th, 1940. She was preceded in death by her parents (Chris and Margaret Yoveff) and her beloved husband John Nutt.

She graduated from Fordson High School and Eastern Michigan University. Upon graduation, Del became a teacher in the Taylor School District where she taught for 38 years. She also was a substitute teacher in the Novi school district. She was beloved by her students and many close friends. Del was always there to help those in need and was a loving mother, sister and grandmother.

She is survived by her brother Sam (Mary) Yoveff and her Daughters, Natalie (Eric) Brown, Christina Nutt and John (Patricia) Nutt and her grandchildren Preston Brown, Lauren (Drake) Pocsatko. and Ryan Brown. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces and in-laws from various locations in the United States and Canada.

A celebration of Del's life will be held sometime this summer followed by a picnic for her many friends and family members.
