David Lowry passed peacefully on November 1 at 96. Loving father of Marie, Sharon Ploch (Joseph), Joseph, beloved grandfather of Christopher, Caitlin (Jared), Emma, Claire, and Adele, and great-grandfather of Walter and Roland, he was preceded in death by Virginia, his wife of 65 years, and his son Donald. 

A mechanic during his working years, he went on to a second career at the Yankee Air Museum, maintaining and working as crew on the B-17 there. We will miss his quiet, steady way and his offbeat sense of humor.

Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 10 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Valentine Church, 14841 Beech Daly, Redford, MI. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m.
