Daniel J. Wood, passed on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 in Farmington Hills at the age of 94. Loving father of Daniel J. (Marion) Wood, Jr., Patricia (David) Syrian, Peter J. (Denise) Wood, Cynthia (Joseph) Lehman, Alan (Denise) Wood, and Kevin (Elena) Wood. Dear grandfather of 16, great grandfather of 23, and great great grandfather of 1. Beloved husband of the late Helen D. Wood for 46 years. Preceded in death by his 11 siblings and parents. Mr. Wood was the owner (Master Plumber) of Dan Wood Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, Electrical for 40 years before retiring in 1997. Visitation will be held at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River Avenue, Novi, 248-348-1800 on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 from 2:00 PM -8:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 PM. Instate Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 23815 Power Road, Farmington from 9:30 AM until time of funeral liturgy 10:00 AM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield. Memorial donations may be made to Angela Hospice .
