Alsheskie, Daniel
With deep sadness we announce the passing of Daniel Alsheskie on February 14, 2024, at the age
of 60. Born on October 27, 1963, in Royal Oak, Michigan. He resided in Wixom, Michigan for the last
27 years.
Dan is survived by his wife, Carrie Alsheskie; children, Kristen and Kyle Alsheskie; grandson,
Hudson Moore; brother, Dave (Katie) Alsheskie; sister, Amy (Patrick) Roberts; and mother, Judith
Simon.
Dan grew up in Clawson, Michigan and graduated from Clawson High School. He retired from
Michigan Cat after 22 years in 2022. He was a proud father, grandfather and husband. Dan was an
avid Detroit sports fan and a supporter of the Michigan Wolverines. He found joy in being outside in
the sunshine, spending time with his dogs, being on the lake behind the wheel of a boat, bowling,
baseball and enjoying the local breweries.
Dan will be deeply missed but forever remembered. A Celebration of Life will be held on March 3,
2024 from 11-1 at the Drafting Table in Wixom, where the family invites you to share a beer in Dan's
memory.
