Dale Joseph Boes, Age 80, of Brighton, passed away on October 19, after a short & courageous battle with Leukemia. Married to his high school sweetheart, Kathleen (Carletti) for 57 years. Cherished father of Bridget (Paul) Flanagan, Kevin (Danielle) Boes, John (Cheryl) Boes, and Michael Boes. Proud Grandpa of Andrew and Zachary Boes, Michael, Elizabeth & Julie Flanagan, and Anthony, Vincent & Michael Boes. Brother of Beverly (Michael) Faubert, Barbara (Fred) Capaldi and the late Gerald (Marlyse) Boes and many nieces and nephews. Brother-in-law of Romayne Carletti.
Dale loved family, golf, and vacations on Hutchinson Island, FL. Dale graduated from Detroit Catholic Central in 1954, and the University of Detroit in 1958. Dale began his life-time career at age 20 with the Stanley-Carter Company and retired as owner and President 50 + years later.
Dale was deeply committed to his faith, family and friends, and his church community at St. Patrick. We will all miss his friendship, guiding wisdom, and his fighting spirit.
Visitation at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River Avenue, Novi 248-348-1800 on Sunday, October 23, 2016 from 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM with a scripture service at 7:00 PM.
Instate Monday, October 24, 2016 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 711 Rickett Road, Brighton from 9:30 AM until time of funeral liturgy 10:30 AM.
