Connor David
Adamson
Feb 15, 2007 — Oct 22, 2026
Lance Corporal Connor David Adamson, USMC
February 15, 2007 – October 22, 2026
Connor David Adamson, 19, a Lance Corporal in the United States Marine Corps, passed away on October 22, 2026, in Holly Ridge, North Carolina.
Born February 15, 2007, in Commerce Township, Michigan, to Niccole Cervi and David Adamson. Connor was loved and cherished by his stepdad, Jon Cervi, and his stepmom, Terri Adamson. He grew up in Livonia, Michigan. He enlisted in the Marine Corps in September 2024, graduated from boot camp that December, and served with the 2d Battalion, 8th Marines at Camp Lejeune, deploying overseas in 2026. Earning his Eagle, Globe, and Anchor was one of the proudest moments of his life.
Connor's road to the Marine Corps started at home. His stepmom, Terri, made the military her life's career — serving in both the Army and the Navy — and it was her example, and her encouragement, that set Connor on his own path to serve. When he decided to enlist, his reason was simple: "If Terri can do it, I can." At home, Connor and his dad, David, bonded over fishing, hunting, and long days outdoors — time together that meant the world to them both.
Connor lived life to the fullest — he loved fishing, hunting, exploring the outdoors, and most of all riding his dirt bike on the trails. He was always smiling, and his laugh was contagious — it lifted everyone around him.
His heart belonged to his baby boy. Becoming a father to his infant son, Trevor David Adamson, was the greatest joy of his life.
A mother-and-child bond is unbreakable, and Connor shared that bond with his mother. He was her first child, and her only son, and her love was a constant in his life. Jon, his step-dad, helped raise him and loved him as his own. Their summers, family vacations, and adventures together — and the regular evenings around her dinner table — were a big part of his childhood, and the memories she will always keep.
He and his sister, Alyse, shared a bond like no other. Born just 18 months apart, they grew up side by side — his confidante, his partner in crime, one of his favorite people in the world. Distance and deployment never faded it. She was his first friend and his forever ally, and she will carry his memory — and his love — with her always.
Dayne was his stepbrother in name ONLY — to Connor, he was simply his brother, and that is what Connor called him. From boyhood they were nearly inseparable, building Legos on the floor and losing whole afternoons to video games. Dayne will miss him.
He also treasured his best friend, Hayden Collier, and Hayden's wife, Madison, who were more family than friends.
Connor was loved by all who had the privilege of knowing him — and especially by his Marine Corps brothers, who stood beside him in service and will carry his memory with them always.
Connor is survived by his mother, Niccole Cervi, and step-dad, Jon Cervi, of Livonia, Michigan; his father, David Adamson, and step-mom, Terri Adamson, of Oscoda, Michigan; his infant son, Trevor David Adamson; his sister, Alyse; his stepbrothers, Dayne and Blake; his grandparents; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
[Funeral services with full military honors rendered by the United States Marine Corps will be held at — date, time, funeral home to confirm.]
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to TAPS (Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors) or to the family of his son, Trevor.
Forever missed, forever loved. Semper Fidelis.
Forever 19.
