Colin Wells Hogan
August 12, 1985 – February 4, 2025
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Colin Wells Hogan on February 4, 2025, at the age of 39. Born on August 12, 1985, in Detroit, Michigan, Colin was the beloved son of Maureen Olszewski and step-son to Chet Olszewski and cherished son of Michael Hogan and step-son to Anette Hogan, and younger brother of Seann Michael Hogan who he adored deeply.
Colin's educational journey began at Novi High School, and he continued his studies at Eastern Michigan University, Washtenaw Community College, and Surgical Tech School, where he followed his passion for healthcare. His caring nature and drive to help others were qualities that defined him throughout his life.
An avid sports fan, Colin loved his Detroit Lions, spending countless hours cheering them on with family and friends. He also enjoyed golfing, playing fantasy football, and indulging in his other hobbies, including gaming and cooking with those closest to him. A lover of animals, he found joy in caring for geckos and taking in the little pleasures of life.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River Ave, Novi, MI 48375, with visitation from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Family and friends are welcome to gather and honor Colin's memory.
