PRIESTAP, CLARENCE "CHUCK" Age 72, was peacefully called to Heaven on June 6, 2015 at home with his family by his side. Chuck had been in the care of his loving family. He was born December 3, 1942 on a farm in Armada, Michigan. After graduating from Armada High School in 1961, Chuck served four years in the United States Air Force. He was stationed at McCoy Air Force Base in Orlando, Florida as an Airplane Mechanic.
On February 3, 1967 Chuck married the love of his life, Evette Cipponeri. Chuck was employed by Ford Motor Company for 32 years in the divisions of Turbine Engines, Power Products, Parts and Service and Publications. Chuck especially enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, never missing an opportunity to attend their activities. He also enjoyed doing home improvements, puzzles, traveling (especially cruises), working in the yard, fixing cars, golfing with his son-in-laws and breakfast morning dates with his wife and friends to Panera Bread.
Chuck was always concerned with his family's welfare and held others needs ahead of his own. No one ever had to ask for help; Chuck was already there. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Minnie and brother, Gerald. He is survived by his beloved wife, Evette of 48 years. A dear father of Michele (Don) Brown and Laurie (Jim) Clausen, proud Grandpa (Umpa/Pa) of 4 grandchildren: Devin, Logan, Ashley and Easton, brother of Shirley Phyillaiere, son-in-law of Nick Cipponeri, brother-in-law of Jim (Connie) Cipponeri and beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Chuck always had a smile on his face. His favorite quote was "Smile often and see what happens." He was a good neighbor and friend to all and he will be dearly missed. Chuck leaves a legacy of love, laughs and honesty.
