Obituary

Christine Ann Roznowski passed away peacefully on May 31, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness, faith, and determination touched the lives of all who knew her.

Christine was the beloved wife of the late John. She is survived by her five cherished sons: Mark; Jim (Janet); Mike (Dawn); Keith (Elizabeth); and John (Cindy). She was a proud and loving grandmother to Natalia, Klaudia, Emily, Jimmy, Alex, and Angelina, each of whom brought her tremendous joy. She was preceded in death by her her brother, George. 

Christine worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield and Jacobson's during her career, earning the respect of colleagues through her dedication and strong work ethic. Throughout her life, she embraced new experiences with enthusiasm and curiosity. She loved reading, music, art, crafts, traveling, line dancing, and gathering with friends at her Pinochle Club. She enjoyed many cultural pursuits, including visits to the Detroit Institute of Arts and performances by the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. She was also an active member of St. Aidan Church Women's Club, where she shared her faith and fellowship with others.

Above all else, Christine was most proud of her five boys, her parents, her country, and her faith. She lived her life guided by love, gratitude, and a strong sense of purpose. Those who knew her will remember her as loving, thoughtful, selfless, determined, and independent. She was always eager to learn something new, try new experiences, and discover new places.

Christine was well known for her favorite saying, "Every day is a new day," a reflection of the optimism and resilience she carried throughout her life. Her positive spirit and unwavering devotion to her family will remain a lasting inspiration.

A private funeral service was held. Christine was laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield, Michigan.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.
