Smith, Charles S. February 25, 2021 Age 87. Devoted husband to Mary (Fitzpatrick). Beloved father of Eugene (Michelle) Smith, Timothy Smith and Patrick (Sally) Smith. Loving grandfather to Allison and Brennen. Mr. Smith was born June 2, 1933 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Eugene and Mildred (DeCaire) Smith. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War 40th Infantry Division. Chuck provided for his family with jobs in the beverage industry and also Michigan National Bank where he became VP of facility maintenance, where he retired at age 62. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, golfing and cards. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Memorial contributions may be directed to Careline Hospice.
