Charles Thomas Anway, age 68, of Novi, Michigan, passed away on April 18, 2026.

He was born on April 3, 1958, in Detroit, Michigan. Charles was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who found his greatest joy in time spent with his family. He will be remembered for his steady presence, his care for those he loved, and the lasting impact he made on all who knew him.

Charles is survived by his beloved wife, Joan Anway; his daughter, Maureen Icke-Anway; his son, Mark Anway; and their families.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 20, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at O’Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River Avenue, Novi, Michigan 48375.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, 46325 West Ten Mile Road, Novi, Michigan 48374. Charles will lie in state at the church beginning at 10:30 a.m. until the time of Mass.
