Carolyn "Carol" Sue Lienhardt passed away peacefully on July 4, 2024, at the age of 73. She was born on May 16, 1951, in Michigan to the late Louise and George Mardigian.
Carol is survived by her loving son Adam (Megan), and cherished grandchildren Sloane and George. She was the dear sister of Amy (Paul) Hecht, Judy Nahra (and the late Si Nahra), and George Mardigian. Carol was also a beloved aunt to Natalie (Pat) Sinicropi, Charlie Nahra, and Sandy Nahra, and a great aunt to Ani, Stella, and Anna.
Carol graduated from Fordson High School in 1969 and went on to build a successful career as an account manager at Verizon Wireless. Outside of her professional life, she was deeply involved in the community, serving as past-president of the Novi/Northville Colts high school fundraisers and always an open ear to anyone who needed a friend. Carol was known for her generosity and kindness, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Carol was a dynamic home chef as well as a talented holiday baker known for her lemon blossoms and spritz cookies that all her loved ones would look forward to. Her warmth and love for her family were evident in everything she did, and she leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Carol became close to all those involved in her life and will be deeply missed by many. Her family takes solace in knowing that she touched so many lives and will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A memorial service to celebrate Carol's life will be held at 12 pm on Monday, July 8, 2024, at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home 41555 Grand River Ave. Novi, MI 48375 with visitation from 10 am until time of service.
