Carole Elizabeth Denton, age 93, of Novi, Michigan, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2026. She was born on January 16, 1933, in Nicholson, Pennsylvania, as Carole Elizabeth Margheret.
Carole was known for her warm spirit and generous heart. Carole never hesitated to help anyone in need and was deeply loved by all who knew her.
She was passionate about nursing and dedicated much of her life to caring for others. Her compassion and commitment to lifelong service reflected her true character. In her younger years, she enjoyed playing tennis and remained active and adventurous throughout her life.
Carole had a deep love for travel and cherished exploring both the United States and the world. She especially treasured her trips to South Africa for safari adventures and the many cruises she shared with her family. These experiences brought her great joy and lasting memories.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Hazel Douglas; her husbands, David Earnest and Ron Denton; her son, David Earnest; and her brothers, Robert and Gene Douglas.
Carole is survived by her loving children, Scott (Ramona) Earnest, Greg (Eda) Denton, and Sandy Earnest; her cherished granddaughters, Mary-Kate (Brian) Earnest, Kelly Earnest, and Jessie Earnest; and her beloved great-grandson, Ben Earnest Edgar. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to family.
Carole will be remembered for her compassion, strength, adventurous spirit, and unwavering dedication to those she loved and served.
