Carol Ann Albanelli

Carol Ann Albanelli, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.
Carol was the heart of her home and the light in the lives of all who knew her. She cherished her family above all, finding true joy in babysitting her grandchildren, celebrating family milestones, and creating a lifetime of memories on countless adventures with her devoted husband, Pete. Their love story spanned 65 beautiful years of marriage, a testament to their enduring bond.
Carol had a gentle spirit and a joyful heart. Her radiant smile and kind presence made everyone around her feel welcomed and loved. She was a constant source of warmth, always ready to share a laugh, lend a hand, or simply sit and listen with care.
She leaves behind her beloved husband, Pete; her two loving children, Wayne (Carole) and Anna (Craig); her cherished grandchildren, Nathan, Amelia, Miranda (Mason), and Drake; and her precious great-grandson, Marshall. She will also be deeply missed by extended family members, friends, and all who were fortunate to know her.
Though our hearts are heavy, Carol's memory will continue to shine through the stories, traditions, and love she passed on to her family and friends. Her legacy is one of kindness, devotion, and joy — and she will never be forgotten.
Visitation will be held at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River Avenue, Novi, on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a Rosary prayed at 7:00 PM.
Carol will lie in state on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at St. Fabian Catholic Church, 32200 West 12 Mile Road, Farmington Hills, beginning at 10:30 AM until the time of the Funeral Liturgy at 11:00 AM.
Entombment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield.
