Beverly Jean Phillips, born on July 16, 1932, in Highland Park, Michigan, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2025, at the age of 92. She was the beloved daughter of the late Violet (Lane) and Ross Cunningham.
Beverly was the cherished wife of the late Richard C. Phillips, with whom she shared 25 years of love and companionship. Beverly was the former wife of the late David W. Drylie whom she was married to for 26 years and father to their children. She was a loving and devoted mother to Michelle L. (and the late Patrick) Cosman, Jill S. (James) Evangelista, and Paula Drylie. Beverly was also a stepmother to Richard (Lisa) Phillips. Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren, Ryan (Heather) Brett (Brad), Aaron (Lynsey), Jeremy, Lauryn, Nicole (Sean), and the late Rebecca, as well as her step-grandchildren, Jared and Sophia, and her step grand-daughter Kenden. Beverly was a doting great-grandmother to Sophia and Aaron Jr.
She was a dear sister to Frederick (Lynn) Cunningham and the late Ross Jr., Dale, and Dorothy. Beverly is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom she held close to her heart.
Beverly had a deep love for animals, especially cats and dogs, and had a nurturing spirit that extended beyond her own family. She lovingly served as a nanny to two families, the Nemes and Brown families, and her kindness and dedication touched many lives. Also preceded in death by a cherished and wonderful friend, Eldon Funk.A devoted member of St. Gerald's Catholic Church in Farmington, Michigan, Beverly cherished her faith and enjoyed being involved in her community. She loved to travel, play golf, and take long walks at the mall. Beverly was a proud patriot who found joy in attending parades in downtown Northville and going on family outings. Beverly had a love of music, playing the piano for many years.

A funeral service will be held at 12pm (noon) on Monday, April 7, 2025, at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, located at 41555 Grand River Ave., Novi, MI 48375 with visitation from 11 am until time of service. Private interment will follow at Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens, Novi, MI. Beverly will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her loving presence will forever remain in our hearts.
