Beverly "Pat" Collar (1933 – 2023)

Beverly Collar was born on August 8,1933 in Detroit, Michigan. She attended Pershing High School in Detroit. In 1952 she married her high school sweetheart Frank Collar. Pat and Frank were married for 69 years; Frank passed away in April, 2022. Pat is survived by her 4 sons, Michael, Timothy, Kevin, and Derek. Pat was preceded in death by her son Brian. Pat and Frank adored their 13 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Pat was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. Having raised 5 active sons, she was a fixture at numerous baseball, football, and ice hockey games and took pleasure watching her beloved Red Wings with Frank. In retirement, Pat and Frank loved traveling to Mexico during the winter months where they spent many enjoyable days with friends. With her passing, Pat will be reunited with her husband Frank, son Brian, and mother Emilia. Many lives were blessed by Pat's presence and she will surely be missed. A celebration of Pat's life is anticipated for later this year and details will be forthcoming.
