Betty J. McKay May 12, 2016, Age 91 of Novi. Beloved wife of the late Vincent. Dear mother of Douglas (Linda) , Kevin(Susan) and the late Brian. Grandmother of Kelly(Craig) Russett, Laura(Brian) Rickwalt, Kevin(Kristen) McKay and Katlyn McKay. Great-grandmother of Ainnsley, Finnigan, Kellen, Tait, Reece. Preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Smail and brother, William and sister Edith Mae "Mamie". Mrs. McKay worked in the credit office at J.L. Hudson Co. for 25 years and in 1989 was selected Employee of the Year. Betty enjoyed golf and her grandchildren. She also was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and member of the 3rd order of St. Francis. Visitation will be Sunday, May 15, 2016 from 2-8 pm at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home 41555 Grand River, Novi 248 348 1800. Scripture service Sunday @ 7:30 PM.
In state Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church 24505 Meadowbrook Rd. Novi from 10:00am until the funeral Liturgy at 10:30am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield. Contributions may be directed to the Charity of One's Choice.
