Bedelia Weber, beloved mother, grandmother, and devoted member of her family, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2026, in West Palm Beach, Florida. She was born on March 15, 1935, in Detroit, Michigan.

Bedelia was a caring, loving, and selfless woman who was known for her sassy personality and her ability to bring warmth and joy to those around her. Her family was her greatest source of pride, and nothing made her happier than watching her children and grandchildren grow and experience life.

A longtime sports fan, Bedelia especially loved watching Michigan sports and could always be found cheering on her favorite teams. She also loved bowling and reading. Most of all, she treasured attending her children's sporting events. She never missed a game and took great pride in being there to support her family through every season of life.

Bedelia worked for Novi Public Schools as a school secretary. Through the years, she built many cherished memories and friendships, but it was her role as a mother and grandmother that meant the most to her.

Bedelia was the beloved mother of Steve and Jim, and mother-in-law of Genette and Natalie. She was the proud grandmother of Chelsea, Johnathan, Billy, Kylie, Zachary, Adleigh, and Finleigh, and a devoted great-grandmother to Lena. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John; her daughters, Sharon and Mary; and her brother, Leo.

Bedelia's loving presence, spirited personality, and unwavering devotion to her family will be deeply missed. Her family will forever cherish the memories of a woman who showed her love by simply being there—especially from the sidelines, cheering them on.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River Avenue, Novi, Michigan.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church in Novi.

Bedelia will be taken to her final place of rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery following the Funeral Mass.
