Barbara ("Barb") C. Grisinger, 86, of Fox Run, Novi, Michigan, left us January 19, 2019. A requiem mass will be held at 10am on Sunday, January 27, at St. Francis D'Assisi Church, 4500 Wesson St. Detroit.

Born November 22, 1932 in Detroit, Barbara grew up in the St. Francis D'Assisi parish which she loved dearly. She was an executive secretary at Ford Motor Company before moving to California with husband Arnott ("Buzz") (dec. 2002). Barbara was instrumental in the establishment of California's Gifted and Talented Education program, later served to coordinate event planning at the Santa Barbara county show grounds, and enjoyed catering magnificent events in the central California region.

Barbara is survived by son, Michael (Marsha) Grisinger, grand-daughter Acacia, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relations, and close friends.
