Anthony D. Flevaris
September 27, 1943 – June 30, 2025

Anthony D. Flevaris, beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on September 27, 1943, he was the devoted son of the late Demosthenis and Irene Flevaris from Kremasti, Rhodes, Greece.

A proud Detroiter and hardworking cement contractor, Anthony built a lasting legacy through his dedication to his family and his business, A.D. Flevaris & Sons Cement Company. His hands shaped more than concrete—they shaped a life rooted in love, resilience, and service to others.

Anthony was the proud father of Lisa Flevaris Lloyd (Edwin Lloyd) and their beloved dogs Sophie and Max; Michael Anthony Flevaris (Regina Posler) and their cherished pets Stanley and Stella; Anthony D. Flevaris, Jr.; and Nicholas J. Flevaris (Rachel Flevaris). He was a deeply loved grandfather to Alyssa, Anthony T., Elaina, Collin, and Mia Flevaris, all of whom brought him immense pride and joy. He is also survived by his dear sister, Kitsa Flevaris. He loved visiting family and friends in Rhodes, Greece.

A man of quiet strength and deep heart, Anthony found joy in the simple things—fishing on a calm morning, shooting pool with friends, tending his garden, and cheering from the sidelines as his children and grandchildren played sports. Above all, his happiest moments were those spent surrounded by family.
A Committal Service will be held to honor Anthony's life on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Grand Lawn Cemetery in Detroit, Michigan.

He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, love, and devotion to family that will never be forgotten.
