Ann "Nancy" Quinn entered eternal life on November 1, 2023.
The most loving mother of Patrick and Mary and devoted wife of the late John J. Quinn, Nancy lived a beautiful life where she shared her kindness, wit, and compassion with all whom she met. This was evident in the many, many wonderful friends whom she has treasured throughout her life.
Born in Detroit on June 28, 1943, to Basil J. and Mary Louise (nee Butts) Kelly, to a full house that included Bernard (Mary Lee), Pat, Terry (Gerri), Mary Lou (Dick,) and Michael (Donna). Nancy is survived by her faithful brother Terry and his wife Gerri and her sister-in-law, Donna. Nancy is also survived by her many wonderful nieces and nephews whom she treasured dearly, and she is the very special "Gran" to Ava and Oliver.
A graduate of Mercy High School and University of Detroit, Nancy went on to be awarded "Teacher of the Year," in her time teaching 2nd grade at Our Lady of Loreto School. Later in life, Nancy joined her husband at the Frank J. Quinn Insurance Agency, and later became a licensed agent upon his death, where she successfully ran the business until her retirement.
Visitation on Tuesday, November 7th 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. O'Brien Sullivan Funeral Home (41555 Grand River, Novi). Instate, Wednesday, November 8th 9:30 to 10, Funeral Mass 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church (23815 Power, Farmington Hills). Luncheon to follow at 11:30 AM at Brentwood Grille, 43150 Grand River Avenue, Novi, MI 48375.
