In Loving Memory of Andrew Brian Lovatt

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Andrew Brian Lovatt, a beloved husband, father, son, and brother. Andrew left this world on October 31, 2023 at the age of 58, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Andrew was a devoted husband to his loving wife Alyson Lovatt, a caring and supportive father to his children, Josh and Phoebe, and a beloved son of the late Brian and Rita Lovatt. He was also a cherished brother to Nick Lovatt.

Andrew was a highly educated individual, holding a master's degree in systems engineering, a testament to his intellectual curiosity and his desire to continually grow and learn. Professionally, Andrew dedicated his life to automotive engineering at Ford, where he demonstrated a deep passion for his work. His commitment to excellence and innovative thinking made him a valuable asset to the industry. Andrew's unwavering dedication to his craft was truly admirable.

Outside of his professional life, Andrew had a wide range of interests and hobbies. He had an enduring love for golf, finding solace and camaraderie on the green. His passion for music enriched his life, and he often shared his favorite tunes with friends and family. Andrew was an avid reader, with a thirst for knowledge that extended beyond his work. Additionally, he had a deep appreciation for the sport rugby.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the visitation, which will be held at O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home in Novi on Friday, November 10, 2023, from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm. The funeral service, a time to celebrate Andrew's life and bid him farewell, will take place at O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home on Saturday, November 11, 2023, beginning at 10:00 am, following a brief visitation starting at 9:30 am.

The Lovatt family kindly requests that donations be made to the Michigan Humane Society in memory of Andrew Brian Lovatt. Andrew had a deep love and compassion for animals, and supporting this cause would be a fitting way to honor his memory.
