Koenig, Alexander Reed "Alex" July 8, 2021 age 23. Loving son of Gerald and Marie (Sloney) Koenig. Dear brother of Nicholas Tate Koenig and Nathan Andrew Koenig. Grandson of Gerlinde and Roland Koenig and Karen and the late Richard Sloney. Survived by aunts, uncles and cousins. Also survived by his K-9 companion "Gabby". Alexander graduated from South Lyon High School and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering and was also working on his Master's from Michigan State University. He was employed by the Edison Engineering Program at General Electric – Aviation. Alex enjoyed the outdoors, especially hiking and fishing. He loved working out and relished the comradery of his brothers, always saying "I Love You" at the end of the day. Services will be held 12:30 PM Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home 41555 Grand River Ave. Novi 248-348-1800. Family will receive friends Tuesday, July 13, 2021 from 4-9 pm at the funeral home.
