Obituary

Albert Naklah Ansara, born February 1, 1934, in Jerusalem, Palestine, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on December 15, 2025, at his home in Novi, Michigan.

In his younger years, Albert enjoyed boxing, running, and spending time at the YMCA—activities that reflected his discipline, determination, and lifelong appreciation for hard work. These qualities carried into his professional life, where he achieved remarkable success. Albert was a proud business owner and a highly respected horologist and expert watchmaker. Among his greatest professional accomplishments was earning first place in a prestigious New York competition recognizing excellence in watchmaking. He was also deeply knowledgeable in fine jewelry, earning admiration for both his skill and integrity within his craft.

Albert was a man who always looked forward and never looked back. Above all else, he was most proud when his family was gathered around him. He was never shy about expressing his love and would often say, "I love you, and I love you all," words that will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew him.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Margarete Ansara (née Deeb); his five children, Michael (Fabiolla) Ansara, Rannie (Mirela) Ansara, Olga (Michael) Papp, Rosalie Ansara, and Linda Ansara; fourteen cherished grandchildren; and nineteen treasured great-grandchildren.

Albert will be remembered as a man of integrity, honor, humility, and unwavering devotion—to his faith, his work, and especially his family.
