Alan Wayne Morris

Alan Wayne Morris, age 70, passed away on September 10, 2023, surrounded by loved ones. He leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of love that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
Alan was the loving father of Natalie Elizabeth and Raquel Jacqueline Morris, who were the light of his life. He was the beloved son of the late Ernest L and Elizabeth "Betty" Morris, and a dear brother to Reggie (Sherrie) Morris, Larry Morris, Marsha Morris, Debbie (John) Schumaker, David (Kathy) Morris. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Mark Billings. Alan was preceded in death by his siblings Sandy (Dave) Seifferlein and Kathleen Billings.
Alan was raised on the Tollgate farm in Novi, Michigan where he spent time with his family running the farm. Alan graduated from Walled Lake Western High School and went on to attend Oakland Community College before pursuing his trade at a local trade school. He had a successful career as a sheet metal worker, belonging to the esteemed Local 80 union. He spent his entire 36-year career with the Fecteau family.
Alan had a passion for the outdoors and cherished every moment he spent in nature. He had a deep love for classic cars and thoroughly enjoyed attending the Woodward Dream Cruise and the Kruse Auburn, Indiana auction throughout the years. Alan was always the first on to lend a hand with any project the friends, family or neighbors had planned.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation, which will be held on Monday, September 18, 2023, from 3:30 PM until 8:00 PM at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, located at 41555 Grand River in Novi, Michigan.
A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the Milford Memorial Cemetery.
