Raymond “Ray” Leo Walko November 1, 1946 – February 3, 2022 Beloved husband of Elaine for 37 years. Loving father of Donna (Aaron), Shayne, Scott (Lesley), Donald (Lisa). Dear grandfather of Nicholas, Samantha, Hunter, Dillon, Ashley, Marissa, Madison and Megan. Sweet brother of Lorraine (Steve), David and the late Joseph. Ray is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Ray was a long time Oakland County Sheriff and retired as an Oakland County Sargent detective. He was also part of the Airborne unit of the National Guard. He enjoyed playing snooker and was even a member of a snooker club that played weekly in Canada. In addition to being a great snooker player he also was a skilled golfer. Ray enjoyed playing cards with his friends, as well as, trying his luck with casino games. But most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren, family and friends A visitation for Ray will be held at O’Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home on Friday February 11th, 2022, beginning at 4pm with a Rosary and Eulogy service at 6pm and concluding at 8 pm. A funeral mass for Ray will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on Saturday February 12th with an instate beginning at 10:30am until time of funeral liturgy at 11am.
