Marjorie Anderson

September 22, 1938 - March 4, 2022

Marjorie Anderson passed away March 4, 2022. Marge was born on September 22, 1938, in Detroit Michigan to the late Stella Miller and Anthony Costa. Beloved wife of the late Howard Anderson. Devoted mom to Terri Anderson-Berger (Thomas Berger), Thomas (Jessie Kim) Anderson. Proud Grandma Tootsie of Michael (Brittnie) Berger, Alexandra (Dominic) Sabo. Loving Great-Grandma Tootsie to Thomas Jeffery Berger and Madelynn Nikole Berger. The beloved sister to the late Ronald Costa, the late Richard Costa, Anthony Costa, Deborah Klien and Kimberly Ricketts. Marge was a graduate from Schoolcraft College. Also, she was an enthusiastic cosmetologist and instructor teaching at Walled Lake Vocational School. Her students felted passion from her and were delighted to have her as their instructor. Her next move, she became a dedicated sales associate in fashion jewelry at Hudson’s, Marshall Fields and Macy’s. She was conscientious of her appearance. In addition to working, she volunteered at Providence Park Hospital for ~ 16 yrs. Marge was quick-witted, she always had a comeback line to make you laugh. She thrived adventure. She enjoyed playing the slot machines at casinos, riding mini-bikes, dirt bikes, snowmobiling and boating. Marge always showed excitement to dance and listen to music. She was energized by playing games; hide and seek, flashlight tag, snipe hunting and spoons. She would plan food, crazy foam and silly string fights, a kid at heart. Fascinated by robots, remote cars, and animated toys. Grandma Tootsie has had a truly genuine relationship with her grandchildren. They have always included her in every aspect of their lives. She gave positive support, wisdom and guidance. She encouraged them to express their viewpoint. They sincerely adored her and valued her everlasting love! Great-grandma Tootsie had an amazing bond with her great-grandchildren. To be so young, they couldn’t wait to spend time with her. She made a remarkable impact on them. Marge was always thoughtful and thankful. She adored her family and friends. Nothing would stop her from helping them. Throughout the years, many family members and their pets lived with her. There was never a dull moment in her household. Not only did she spoil her family, but she spoiled their pets too! All their pets wanted to be with her and sit on her lap. Tootsie’s compassion for life will remain in the hearts forever. We’re very fortunate to have had her in our lives and to share her gifts. She Loved Life! A Funeral Mass will take place at Our Lady of Victory, Friday June 10th @ 11:00am In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the charity of your choice.
