Daniel Morrow Noble

November 12, 1951 - September 19, 2021

Daniel Morrow Noble, age 69 of Northville, Michigan, passed away on September 19, 2021 at home surrounded by family. A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, son-in-law and cousin, Dan was a compassionate man who put the needs of others first. All who knew him can describe an instance where Dan welcomed them into his home, gave emotional support or dropped everything to help with a project. He was most proud of his daughters and all the joy they brought to him and Cheri. He enjoyed travel and entertaining but most of all he loved to spend time with his family. No matter how busy he was hosting, and he was frequently the host, he would always make time to hold the babies. And the children knew he cherished them. Dan was a huge fan of sports including hockey, football and anything Detroit. He was the biggest fan of his daughters’ swim teams. He was a passionate golfer who once had a hole in one and won a car for it. Throughout his illness, Dan carried his cross with a dignified grace and never complained; a true inspiration to all of us. He was preceded in death by his parents Ken and Eileen; daughter Christine, and father-in-law Bud Mumby. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Cheri (Nielsen), daughter Meg (Mike) and grandson Kyle Gram of Henderson, NV, and daughter Emie of Ypsilanti, MI. Also survived by sisters Kathy Picano, Barbara (Bob) Bochy, Mary (Pat) Dudding, and Joan E (Phil) Cox; and brothers Pete (Laura) Noble and Fr. Paul Noble; mother-in-law Mary Mumby, sisters-in-law Sue (Larry) Klerk, Jan Nielsen, Caren Nielsen, and Ellen Fisher; brothers-in-law Peter Nielsen and IV (Casey) Mumby; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Dan will be missed by his numerous friends, and his associates from the 32 years he worked at AAA. There is a huge whole in our hearts where Danny once lived. Visitation will be Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home 41555 Grand River Ave Novi, MI 48375. A rosary will be prayed at 7 pm on Thursday. Funeral Liturgy Friday, September 24, 2021 at 11 am from St. James Catholic Church 46325 W. 10 Mile Rd. Novi with visitation from 10:30 am until time of liturgy at church. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the Defeat MSA Alliance.click here to contribute. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield. Expressions of sympathy www.obriensullivanfuneralhome.com
