Wayne R. Ball, passed on March 27, 2019 at the age of 95.
Wayne was born on February 25, 1924 in Battle Creek, Michigan. He served in the US Navy in the Pacific during WWII. Wayne was a retiree from Chrysler Corp where he served as manager of Government Sales. Over the years he was involved as a professional square dance caller in the metro Detroit area. He also was involved with the Civil War Reenactment at Greenville Village with 8th Michigan Calvery Musket Loaders where he took his wife on their first date. He became an avid water color painter with extraordinary pictures of lighthouses, ships, and fenton. He always had a great love for singing being in two choirs until just before his passing. He also loved building model ships and planes. He most enjoyed being with his family in all kinds activities especially with good food and boat rides on Duck Lake.
Beloved husband of Virginia R. Ball for 52 years. Loving father of Tura Ball, Nancy (Jim) Bojack, Dennis (Jeanne) King, and Linda (Arnold) Middleton. Dear grandfather of Dawn (Jay) Impellizzeri, Steven (Denise) King, Jim (Suzanne) Bojack, Christine (Mark) Shuttleworth and great grandfather of Alex, Nathan, Katrina, Kaitlyn, Hailey, Cassidy, Kylie, Brant, Caleb, Chloe.
Visitation at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River Avenue, Novi, 248-348-1800 on Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM.
Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Sunday, April 7, 2019 from 2:00 PM until time of the funeral service at 3:00 PM. Memorial donations to the Fox Run 2019 Department of Philanthropy Scholarship Fund. Inurnment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
