Marie Cortina Siroskey Age 96

Marie was born in Ripi, Italy on March 7, 1923 to the late Luigi and Rosa (Mariani) Cortina.

The family emigrated to the USA when Marie was 7 years of age to Chicago, Illinois. Marie went on a short vacation to Saugatuk, Michigan where she met John Siroskey. They were married in September of 1945. Sadly, he predeceased her in 1997 after 52 years of marriage. Marie is the beloved mother of Marguerite (Mike) McKeon, Philip (Judith) Siroskey and the late Victoria Sata, Mother–in-law of Robert Sata.

Proud grandmother of Kelly Fairchild, Vincent (Allison) McKeon and Joseph McKeon. Great grandmother of Nash McKeon.

Sister of Theresa (Fred) Rosati, Susan Nelson and the late Paul Cortina. Sister-in-law of Nona Cortina.

Marie worked as an administrator for the Bank of Dearborn (now Comerica Bank) until she retired in 1985 to care for her husband John.

Instate at St. Fabian Church 3220 West 12 Mile Road Farmington Hills Thursday 9:30am until the funeral Liturgy at 10:30am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Southfield.
