Lori Ann Hoy was born January 2, 1957 in Dearborn, MI.
She passed away peacefully on March 24, surrounded by loved ones at home after a very long courageous battle with cancer.
She is survived by her loving husband, David Hoy of 39 years.
Loving mother to Matthew Hoy and Megan Hoy.
Daughter of Dorothy Gorham and the late Joseph Alioto, and step daughter to the late Louis Gorham.
Sister to Michael Alioto (Mary Anne) and Kathy Alioto.
As well as many nieces and nephews.
Lori enjoyed spending her summers on Littlefield Lake with her friends, family, and loved to vacation on Bonita Beach in Florida.
She was a longtime member of the Northville Moose Lodge where she spent much of her time there helping with events, playing cards, and hanging out with her friends.
Lori retired from Tri County Orthopedics after 30 years and went on to work for the late Dr. Robert Colen.
She was a very generous person, and always made those around her feel welcome as part of her family.
She will forever be known for her upbeat personality and great sense of humor.
Visitation will be held at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River Avenue, Novi, on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 from 3:00pm – 9:00pm.
Instate Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at St. James Catholic Church, 46325 West 10 Mile Road, Novi from 9:30am until the time of the funeral mass at 10:30am.
