Kenneth L Hull, of Novi, MI passed away peacefully on February 8, 2026, at age 94. Ken was born in Detroit to Martha and Herbert Hull. Ken was predeceased by his parents, and his brother Ronald.
Ken earned a double major from the University of Detroit in math and english. He also earned a master's degree from the University of Michigan in math. He went on to teach math at Southfield High school for 33 years where he was also head of the math department.
He enjoyed classical music and attending the symphony. In his early years, he played the organ at St Mary's of Redford and St. Aidan in Livonia. He also played the piano and the harpsichord. His hobbies included traveling, weaving and machine knitting. Many family members and friends were recipients of his lovely handmade sweaters, scarves, blankets, and placemats.
Ken had a giving spirit. He volunteered for years at the Wellness Center and Simon House helping seniors. In addition, he volunteered for 31 years at Children's Hospital in Detroit in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, comforting newborns.
Ken leaves behind two loving nieces, Patricia (Jeff) Tottis and Cheryl Wasson and one nephew James (Kim) Hull.
Visitation will be at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home 41555 Grand River Novi Thursday, February 12, 2026 from 4-7pm. The funeral service will be Friday, February 13, 2026 11:00am at the funeral home.
